Julia Kowalska x BRACIA

In April 2023, I hosted an intimate collectors’ dinner at the Sarah Kravitz Gallery in London to celebrate Julia Kowalska’s inaugural solo exhibition, “Milky Blind Eye.” This exhibition, running from April 21 to May 21, 2023, showcased Kowalska’s introspective paintings that explore the abstraction of the human form through pastel palettes and dreamlike scenes.

The evening was enriched by a plant-based culinary experience crafted by BRACIA, a London-based pop-up led by chefs Karol Adamiak and Barclay Bram, known for their imaginative events that blend food with artistic collaboration. The synergy between Kowalska’s evocative artworks and BRACIA’s innovative cuisine provided guests with a multisensory journey, deepening their engagement with the themes of affection, fear, and human connection explored in the exhibition.
