Residency tour—press & Collectors

In October 2024, Sarah Kravitz hosted an exclusive Press and Collectors Tour to mark the second season of the Kowitz & Kravitz Artist Residency. The day-long event brought together leading curators, writers, and collectors for an intimate introduction to the residency’s mission and artists-in-residence. The tour began with a walkthrough of the Soho studio spaces, where guests met the resident artists and viewed works-in-progress, followed by a special preview of Nick Modrzewski’s solo exhibition, Social Ledger.

The itinerary continued with a private visit to Bridge Point Studios and culminated with a lunch and guided tour at Fairlight Hall, home to the Kowitz Collection. Throughout the day, conversations flowed around the impact of the residency program, which supports emerging artists from Central and Eastern Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. The event underscored the residency’s growing reputation as a vital platform for cultural exchange and ambitious artistic development, while also deepening relationships with key supporters and advocates of the program.
